The Toronto Blue Jays remained a strong contender in 2024, powered by their talented young core. Building on consecutive postseason appearances, the Jays fought hard in the AL East, ultimately securing a Wild Card berth for the second straight year. Sluggers Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette paced a dynamic offense, and offseason pitching additions helped Toronto stay competitive with division rivals. Major news in recent months included the departure of third baseman Matt Chapman in free agency, but the front office moved swiftly to address needs and bolster the roster's depth. Jays fans are optimistic that 2025 will see this group take the next step toward a deep October run.
