Business has certainly picked up in the Motor City. After entering the 2023 season as a popular dark-horse pick, the Lions lived up to those expectations and then some. Detroit won two playoff games in the same season for the first time in franchise history and came oh-so-close to reaching the Super Bowl for the first time. Now with a target on their backs, we’ll see what head coach Dan Campbell does with a strong offense that has many pieces returning. That includes quarterback Jared Goff, running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and tight end Sam LaPorta. And don’t forget about third-year defensive end Aiden Hutchinson. The only question is whether last year’s success will carry over in 2024.
