Panthers fans are hoping some growing pains will pay off with progress in the 2024 season. Bryce Young enters his second season. New head coach Dave Canales helped Baker Mayfield last year with Tampa Bay, and the hope is that he will be a positive influence in Young’s development at the pro level. Offensively, Carolina added Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson and shored up its line on both sides of the ball with guards Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis along with defensive linemen Jadeveon Clowney, A’Shawn Robinson, and D.J. Wonnum.

A full renovation of Bank of America Stadium in downtown Charlotte may be coming, but for now, you can still enjoy the stadium’s great views and solid suite options. Veteran receivers Adam Theilen and DJ Chark Jr., tight end Hayden Hurst, and running back Miles Sanders will all help Young acclimate. Under new head coach Frank Reich, Carolina has high potential heading into this season.

Carolina had a solid draft night, taking offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu out of nearby North Carolina State with the No. 6 pick instead of reaching for a quarterback, and they got a solid QB in the third round in the form of Ole Miss’s Matt Corral, who likely would’ve gone higher if it wasn’t for an injury he sustained in the Sugar Bowl. While the team grooms Corral, Sam Darnold will have the reigns again this season for head coach Matt Rhule’s third season unless they make a move for Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo. The team also signed running back D’Onta Foreman as an insurance policy for Christian McCaffrey, and wide receivers Robbie Anderson and D.J. Moore are back.
