Toronto has impressed over the last four years. Expect 2024 to exceed that stretch. Young stars Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette lead the offense. Guerrero Jr. had 26 homers and nearly 100 RBI last year. Bichette was strong too, batting .306. The two are joined by George Springer, Kevin Kiermaier, and newcomer Justin Turner in the lineup. And on the mound, the Blue Jays are headed by star Kevin Gausman. Starters Chris Bassitt, Jose Berrios, and Yusei Kikuchi fill out the rotation, creating a deep group. After two straight early playoff exits, Toronto fans are in for a treat in 2024.

The TD Lounge, Blueprint Club, and Ticketmaster Lounge are spread out across the stadium, giving fans once in a lifetime experiences. And suites are a strong option with the Blue Jays too. After just missing out on the playoffs in 2021, the Blue Jays got the job done last year by earning a Wild Card spot in the American League, but October was a quick disappointment in a 2-0 loss to Seattle in the opening round. Changes were made before 2022, and that’s the case again this year. Gone are Teoscar Hernandez and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Replacements on offense include Daulton Varsho, Brandon Belt, and Kevin Kiermaier. Chris Bassitt was signed after a solid year with the New York Mets to join a rotation led by Alek Manoah and Kevin Gausman.

Rogers Centre just completed phase one of a renovation of the ballpark that was the envy of sports when it opened as SkyDome in 1989. Some changes to the dimensions in the outfield were made, and new social spaces were created on three different levels beyond the fences to create the Outfield District. In 2024, expect changes to some infield seating along with field-level premium clubs and social spaces. Suites can hold from 12 and 24 to 50 fans and have VIP indoor and outdoor seating, a VIP suite attendant, a private restroom, and a variety of catering options ranging from ballpark fare to premium options.

Toronto only had a few months to enjoy their Blue Jays in 2021, but now they have all of 2022 to head to Rogers Centre and check out a team that many are picking to reach the World Series for the first time since repeating as champs in 1992-93. One of the best offenses in MLB lost Marcus Siemian but gained Oakland slugger Matt Chapman to join Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, Bo Bichette, Teoscar Hernandez, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Cy Young winner Robbie Ray departed for Seattle, but he was replaced by Kevin Gausman, and don’t forget about Hyun Jin Ryu, who finished in the top-three in Cy Young voting in 2019 and ’20.

The Rogers Centre is the longtime home of the Blue Jays, and it’s always rocking when Toronto is putting a good product on the field.
