Born in 1958, Andrea Bocelli is one of the most popular Classical and Opera singers of all time. Bocelli is best known for his vocals but he is also an extremely talented pianist and flutist. Andrea Bocelli has been recognized as Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for his musical influence.

Andrea Bocelli has produced 15 solo albums selling over 90 million records worldwide. Bocelli has aslo released 3 greatest hits albums and 9 complete operas as well. In 1998 he was named as one of People magazine's 50 most Beautiful People. Bocelli has received a Golden Globe Award for Best Original song for The Prayer with Celine Dion.
