It’s officially the Connor Bedard show in Chicago. And it will continue to be the Connor Bedard show for the foreseeable future. The 18-year-old dominated on his path towards being selected with the first pick of the 2023 NHL Draft. Bedard is touted as one of the best prospects in recent history. The Blackhawks are immediately more dynamic, exciting, and intriguing the moment Bedard makes his debut. The rookie is joined by other newcomers to round out Chicago’s new offense. Corey Perry, Nick Foligno, Taylor Hall, and Ryan Donato all headed to the team over the off-season. But, in the end, those additions will be overlooked. All eyes are on Connor Bedard. The youngster alone is worth admission.

The United Center is a great venue to watch the NHL. Premium seating like the BMO Club and Michelob Ultra Club extend plenty of amenities. The Blackhawks bolstered their defense by trading for Columbus’ all-star Seth Jones. They also added a two-time Stanley Cup Champion center in Tampa Bay’s Tyler Johnson and one of the most decorated netminders in the game’s history in Marc-Andre Fleury, who needs just eight more victories to become just the third goalie to ever crack the 500-win mark. Fans seeking a world class premium experience at the United Center can start with one of the Licensed Executive Suite options. Lower Level Suites provide their most luxurious state-of-the-art space to wine and dine while Penthouse Level Suites combine comfort with a hawks-eye view of the Hawks. Those seeking similar amenities and service, but at a fraction of the price, can try a membership to the BMO Club. Four-to-eight person elegant theatre boxes highlight the Budweiser Championship Club, which comes with reserved dining tables and private coat closet.

The Blackhawks are in a bit of transition, as the team has moved on from several pieces of their Stanley Cup-winning teams (like head coach Joel Quenneville), while others remain (Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and goaltender Corey Crawford).

Can this core, combined with Dylan Strome, Alex Nylander, and defenders like Calvin de Haan and Olli Maatta, to make another run in the Western Conference? Strome averaged nearly a point per game after being traded to Chicago midseason, and Alex DeBrincat is expected to reach the next level this year after scoring 41 goals a season ago. It will be up to head coach Jeremy Colliton, going into his first full season on the bench, to get the most out of this squad.
