Overview
The Lumineers are set to headline their third world-wide tour “III: The World Tour” to promote their latest album titled III released in 2019. The American folk-rock band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States, known for their raw and simplistic sound.
Personal
The Lumineers were formed in 2005 and the band consists of Wesley Schultz (lead vocalist and guitarist) and Jeremiah Fraites (drummer and pianist). The Lumineers saw success early on in their career and sold out all venues for their first headlining tour “The Lumineers World Tour.”
Career Achievements
In 2013 the band received a Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist following the release of their first self-titled album. The single “Ho Hey” has sold over 5 million copies and was the bands first top five single on the Hot 100 charts. The single “Ophelia” was the Billboard’s #1 Alternative song in 2016.
