Prior to the 2024 season, the Tigers adjusted the stadium's outfield dimensions, lowering wall heights and bringing in deep center field, to create a more exciting, homer-friendly environment (addressing a long-time concern of hitters and fans). The park also introduced a state-of-the-art sound system and upgraded its main video board to give spectators crystal-clear replays and graphics. Premium seating options at Comerica are top-notch: the Tiger Club and Champions Club provide all-inclusive experiences with great views, and the Gallagher Family Lounge behind home plate offers a VIP atmosphere for corporate groups. Of course, Comerica's signature features remain a hit as well, from the tiger sculptures guarding the gates to the carousel and Ferris wheel for kids. A day at the ballpark in Detroit now means competitive baseball in a fan-centric venue, a combination that has Tigers supporters excited for each home game.

Detroit continues to build towards its first playoff appearance since 2014. The Tigers have a deep lineup that is a mix of veterans and youth. First baseman Spencer Torkelson hit 31 homers in his first full MLB season in 2023. Outfielders Riley Greene, Kerry Carpenter, and Parker Meadows are all under 26 years old. And infielders Javier Baez and Gio Urshela add experience. On the mound, Detroit added starters Kenta Maeda and Jack Flaherty to help. The two join Tarik Skubal, who had an impressive 2.80 ERA in 15 starts last season. The Tigers should improve in 2024.
