Pistons Spotlight

Current NBA Season

Detroit is trending towards a breakout season. It all starts with the hire of new head coach Monty Williams. Williams recently spent four years in Phoenix including an NBA Finals berth. And he’ll have plenty of talent to work with in his first season. Cade Cunningham is a budding superstar guard that is coming off a short campaign due to injury. He averaged over 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists his rookie season. Jaden Ivey and Jalen both had impressive rookie years in 2022-23. And recent fifth overall pick Ausar Thompson is a highly-touted talent. He’ll slot into a starting lineup including four players under the age of 22. This year may not be the Pistons’ time to shine, but that moment is approaching.

Past Spotlights

The Pistons’ move to acquire Bojan Bogdanovic right before training camp began showed that the team is looking to make a jump with its youth movement for 2022-23. Even though just 23, Saddiq Bey and Marvin Bagley III have plenty of experience for Detroit, and this past June’s lottery picks, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren, are expected to contribute quickly. Cade Cunningham, going into his second season, had a successful rookie year despite only playing in 64 games. In fact, his 1,114 points, 354 rebounds, and 356 assists rank right up there with rookie seasons turned in by LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and Luka Doncic.

Experience the “suite” life at downtown Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena for the best the Pistons have to offer. Your food and beverage options are highly customizable, and an in-suite attendant will make sure everything is to your specifications. The VIP treatment starts early, as you enter the arena through a covered walkway and into the suite-level concourse, which contains two full bars, a comfortable lounge, and private restrooms just outside your suite.

The Pistons hit the (NBA Draft) lottery with Cade Cunningham as their prize. Oklahoma State’s sensation and first overall pick will attempt to reverse the fortunes of a team that finished last in the Eastern Conference with a record of 20-52. How quickly that turnaround occurs may hinge on how soon this team grows up. The potential youngest starting five in the league also features up-and-comers in 20-year-old Killian Hayes, 22-year-old Saddiq Bey, and 20-year-old Isaiah Stewart. Veteran assistance will be provided by Jerami Grant, who’s coming off a career year where he averaged 22.3 points per game, and offseason acquisition Kelly Olynyk, consistently good for 10 points a contest throughout his 8-year-career. The premium experience at Little Caesars Arena starts up front, as in front row. Pistons Row 1 and Super VIP membership offers all-inclusive dining and access to the Players Club. This sophisticated atmosphere that’s easily accessible from the connected parking garage provides private bathrooms, beer, wine, and liquor options, while getting your own glimpse of the team taking and exiting the floor. For other exquisite views of the action check out the Rehmann Club, Motor City Casino Club, or Legends Club.
