Minnesota Vikings Event Planning Guide

Catering

A catering package including food, soft drinks, beer and wine is included in the cost of most Minnesota Vikings suites. For Norseman Lounge suites, guests have access to a premium food spread in the Lounge directly behind their suite. Suite catering cost is extra for non-Vikings events.

Parking and Transportation

Luxury suites for Minnesota Vikings games at U.S. Bank Stadium typically come with VIP parking passes for a lot that is convenient to the appropriate entrance to access your luxury suite. For non-Vikings games, parking passes cost extra. Many guests also choose to utilize Lightrail and Northstar.

Budget

The budget for a luxury suite at U.S. Bank Stadium should be between $5,000 to $35,000 depending on the type of event you wish to attend and the size of your group. For Vikings games, suites typically average $20,000. Catering is included in the cost of the suite for Vikings games.

Club Access

U.S. Bank Stadium offers a variety of club access for suite ticket holders. If you’re in a Custom One Loft Suite, Norseman Suite, or Norseman Lounge, you’ll enjoy access to an a la carte club. For those in Valhalla Suite, Turf Suites, Touchdown Suites, Club Purple Couches, or Loge Boxes, you’ll have access to an all-inclusive club experience.

Dress Code

U.S. Bank Stadium suites do not have a formal dress code, though it is always best to confirm expectations with your suite host in advance of the event. The stadium is indoors and climate controlled. For those who choose to bring their winter gear, most suites will have a coat rack or coat closet.

Venue Bag Policy

Luxury box guests must adhere to the NFL bag policy, which disallows bags, purses, or backpacks over 4.5” x 6.5”. It is recommended to bring your belongings in your pockets, in a clutch roughly the size of your hand, or in a small plastic bag. Consider leaving larger items in your vehicle.

Entrances

Gates at U.S. Bank Stadium will open 2 hours in advance so you can arrive early to enjoy the amenities of your suite. There are 7 entrances to choose from and your Suite Experience Group representative will advise on which entrance is most appropriate to access your particular luxury suite.

Child Ticket Policy

Suite guests must adhere to the venue ticket policy. For Vikings football games, one child less than 2 years old and less than 36 inches tall will be granted access with one ticketed adult. Some U.S. Bank Stadium events require all attendees, regardless of age, to present a ticket for entry.

Vikings Spotlight

Current NFL Season

The happiest man in Minneapolis after Justin Jefferson signed a long-term extension with the Vikings was rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy. The rookie out of Michigan, whether he or Sam Darnold is the Week 1 starter, will benefit from Jefferson being in Minnesota for the long term. Acquiring Aaron Jones will also bring back the running game to the level it was at when Dalvin Cook was in his prime. With Jordan Addison, Brandon Powell, and T.J. Hockenson rounding out the pass-catchers, McCarthy should be set up for success, as the national championship-winning QB with the Wolverines is used to success.

U.S. Bank Stadium has been one of the best places to catch a game since opening nearly a decade ago. A suite makes gameday even better in this crown jewel of Minnesota, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Turf Suites put you right at field level, while Norseman Suites... Read more
